About me

I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. My research interests are in computational imaging, with an emphasis on understanding and designing AR/VR 3D sensing and display systems. I work with Prof. Ashok Veeraraghavan in the Rice Computational Imaging Group. My research collaborates with Shoou-I Yu and Hernan Badino from Facebook Reality Labs on 3D stereo systems with VR applications, and with Prof. Guru Naik on metalens for 3D imaging. I am currently doing an internship at Meta Reality Labs on waveguide-based AR glasses characterization.

Before coming to Rice, I received my M.S in Optics from the University of Chinese academy of sciences, where I worked with Prof. Shensheng Han on compressive sensing and ghost imaging.
