My research focuses on designing computational imaging systems and their inverse algorithms using optimization and deep learning. I am working on 3D sensing and display from purely digital microscopes to optically optimized monocular and stereo systems, using diffractive optical elements or metasurfaces. I am also interested in the applications of nonlinear optics, advanced sensors, and holograms for high-level sensing/displaying tasks in robotics, self-driving cars, and AR/VR systems.
